The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a mission-driven, organized and personable Systems Technician to manage the installation and maintenance of computers, servers and network hardware and provide on-site response to help desk requests that supports business operations and projects furthering the goals and objectives of the YMCA of Greater Richmond.
The successful candidate must have a high school degree or its equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of three years of related experience is required, with supervisory experience preferred. Project Management experience necessary. Microsoft Certified Professional credential, A+, and HTML certifications and experience desirable. Working knowledge with MS Server platforms and Hyper-V Virtual Machines and backups. Experience operating within a secure domain. Thorough experience with PC and related software in a network environment and PC repair and technical operations essential. Analytical skills critical; ability to organize and administer tasks as well as recommend alternatives. Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be available to work or be on call evenings and weekends.
