Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Membership Director leads the Membership team to become and remain the most welcoming place on earth. In addition, the Membership Director leads the team in efforts to exceed revenue, meet expense targets and provide an exceptional member experience. The Membership Director will lead the development, and evaluation of various Membership programs to ensure sales growth and an exceptional member experience. Recruits, trains, and supports staff and volunteers. Additional responsibilities include hiring, payroll functionality, and training of staff and volunteers, budget management, and adhering to all regulatory and Association standards. Provides liaison to committee(s) and advisory board(s) and takes a leadership role in mission advancement activities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the Association Membership Director is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, and use hands to type. The Member Service Coordinator must also occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds while performing their job functions.
