Dining Team Lead will supervise dining hall servers, line servers, and banquet & restaurant waitstaff. This position is also responsible for ensuring set up of our Mountain View Grille events, as well as conference set up needs surrounding weddings, banquets, and other special events, are met and executed in a timely, professional manner.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions and meet food service health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to be alert, thorough, detail-oriented, and work effectively with others in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
  • Sound verbal, writing, and mathematical skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of computers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required for developing a staff team and relating to guests.
  • The Dining Team Lead must have a friendly and positive attitude towards guests and staff.
  • Maintaining good personal hygiene and personal sanitation.
  • Supervise dining hall servers, line servers, and dish room employees.
  • Staff training and team development of Dining Room team.
  • The Dining Team Lead has a focused responsibility to monitor the flow & maintain the excellent level of service being provided by the staff in the dining room during meal times.
  • Ensuring conference set up needs are met and executed in a timely, professional manner.
  • The Dining Team Lead will will take part in and help set up and supervise weddings, banquets and other events.
  • Develop and manage preparation and prep lists for the cold bar, based on fluctuating guest levels, as well as maintaining the quality and freshness.
  • Ensure proper FIFO procedures are being utilized at all times
  • The Dining Team Lead acts in a supporting role to assist in staff hiring and recruitment.
  • Staff training related to Dining room procedures and customer service, along with needed to skills for special functions/banquets.
  • Assists in general cleaning and maintenance of the Dining Hall, Kitchen, Dish Room, Loading Dock and surrounding areas.
  • Report  all accidents and incidents involving self, participants, guests and other employees to the correct parties.
  • Supporting the Dining Room Manager with staff evaluation and guest relations.
  • Assist in building and execution of staff meeting agendas.
$15.50 - $17.00
