Afterschool care for 9 sites 500+kids.  Director responsible for supervision 30 PT staff. $550,000+ budget. Responsibilities include management of grants, creating and managing center budget, curriculum development, staff training and development, compliance with BFTS Rules and Regulations and Moultrie YMCA rules and regulations and other responsibilities.

Bachelors degree or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or 5 years equivelent experience.  First Aid/CPR must be completed within 60 days if not current. State of Georgia DECAL requirements must be completed ASAP if not current.

  • Assist in developing and upon adoption, effectively administering the annual department budget.
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise PrimeTime Program staff and volunteers, adhering to all guidelines.
  • Develop early childhood education programs that meet the needs of the membership and the community.
  • Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of all equipment and facilities related to the PrimeTime Program.
  • Responsible for keeping records essential for control, evaluation and reporting to Regulatory Agencies, Committees, Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly and annual reports on the activities of specific programs for Committees and the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Actively participate in all staff functions, special events and community events as requested or assigned.
  • Responsible for developing, nurturing and maintaining positive relationships with area schools, churches, civic groups, YMCAs, local government entities and community organizations.
  • Responsible for the program evaluation process in the PrimeTime Program.
  • Responsible for the marketing of all PrimeTime programs.
  • Responsible for the solicitation of PrimeTime donation and sponsorships.
  • Responsible for implementing character development initiatives and instilling the YMCA mission in the PrimeTime program.
  • Responsible for monitoring the continued high rate of program readiness at all facilities and equipment designated for use in PrimeTime programs.
  • Physical requirements include: Walking Running Bending Stooping Kneeling Climbing Standing Sitting Lifting 100 Lbs Pushing 100 Lbs Carrying 70 Lbs Pulling 100 Lbs  Ability to manipulate small objects with hands Ability to communicate audibly

Develops plans and manages best practices through engagement of team. Effectively creates and manages budgets. Holds staff accountable for high-quality results using a formal process to measure progress.
